KEEPING ALIVE THE DREAM OF AN AMERICAN MARTYR 3: ISLAM October 18/19, 2025 During an interview last year, Charlie Kirk was asked why he does what he does, and he said, “My faith compels me to fight corruption in government and culture, just as prophets like John the Baptist did.” And like John, his voice was brutally silenced. We witnessed the first Christian martyr being executed publicly on American soil for his beliefs. We’re recovering from the shock, and we are still grieving the loss, so we’re going to take some time this month to remember Charlie and his message, and to consider how we will respond to the unfinished business he left behind.
